Japanese Castle Trek：日本の城トレッキング

日本一高い所にある天守、岐阜城はよくこんなところに城を建てたものだと思うほど、断崖や原生林に覆われた金華山頂にある。長良川方面や名古屋方面が見渡せる眺望はすごい。QuickTime VRでお城をどう見せるか、考えると今までのVRでは不可能なことに気がついた。山頂まで行くと水平VRでは、ほとんどお城を見ることができないからだ。見上げれば見えるけれど、普通のVRは見上げることができない。ちょっと変則的なアイデアで水平じゃなくて垂直360°にすればできるだろうけど、それじゃちょっと気持ち悪い。そんなところへQuickTime5の正式版が登場した。それまで敬遠していたCubic VRを試してみようと、大阪城で実験を開始。レタッチでかなり苦労させられたが、何とか成功。岐阜城はこれでしか見せることができないだろうと、Cubic VRのみでいくことに決めた。よくよく考えてみたら、どのお城も接近すれば同じことで、それまでに撮影した姫路城も彦根城も、近くに行くと天守閣はすべて入らなくなっていた。

現地へ行ってみてやはり水平VRでは天守閣が全く入らないことがわかった。どこもすべて木が生い茂りベストな場所が無いのだ。太鼓櫓跡はかろうじてできそうだった。Cubic VRにしてもしかり。まともに天守閣が見れる場所は太鼓櫓跡と二の丸跡くらいでどうにもならない。天守閣の真ん前がCubic VRの本領発揮の場所だろう。はじめはロープウェイを使わずに登りながら撮影と思っていたが、あまりにも無謀というのがわかった。ほとんど登山に近いからだ。登山口もファミリー向けの七曲登山道、健脚向きの百曲登山道、老人や幼児は絶対に無理ですと書かれている馬の背登山道のコースがあり、ファミリー向けでも約1時間かかってしまう。登山をしながら撮影すれば3時間はかかるだろうし、山の中から天守閣が見えるとも思えない。山頂まで3分のロープウェイはお城目当てのみなので、かなり有効的だった。

前回撮影した姫路城とついつい比べてしまう。あまりのお粗末さに、撮影場所が無いと思ってしまうのだ。姫路城は世界文化遺産で国宝。比べるのは岐阜城がかわいそうだというもの。まあ、姫路城に比べてやはりいいのはその眺望だろうが、それは自分で登って確かめよう。

The Gifu castle is located at the Kinka-Zan summit of the mountain covered by the cliff and the primeval forest. Probably, it suffered troubles and built. The view which can overlook the direction of Nagara-gawa and the direction of Nagoya is uncanny. Yamashiro cannot be shown in the conventional QuickTime VR. If it goes to the summit of the mountain, a castle cannot be photoed in level VR. It is a reason that it cannot be looked up at. The formal version of QuickTime5 appeared. Cubic VR which was being kept away from till then is tested in Osaka Castle. It completed, although troubles were considerably suffered by the retouch. It decided to create the Gifu castle by Cubic VR. However, a photograph has not been taken when other castles approached. When Himeji Castle and Hikone Castle a photograph of was also taken until now also approached Tensyu, a photograph of them was not able to be taken to Syachi-Hoko, either. As for a spot, a tree grows luxuriantly and where does not have the best photography point. A photograph of Taiko-Yagura was able to be taken barely. The places to which Tensyu is reflected are only Taiko-Yagura and nickel-no-Maru. Tensyu front may be the place which can demonstrate the real value of Cubic VR.

He understood reckless one, although it thought that a photograph would be taken while climbing a mountain, without using a rope way at first. The start of a trail up a mountain is three courses. As for it, the signboard written an old man and a small child are "absolutely impossible" stands on "Hyaku-Magari" for the "Nana-Magari" good walkers for families, and "Uma-no-Se." The course for families will also take about 1 hour. If a photograph is taken, climbing a mountain, how much does it take time? I cannot regard Tensyu-Kaku as visible out of a mountain. Since it was only a castle guide, the rope way for 3 minutes was quite effective to the summit of the mountain.

Himeji Castle and the Gifu castle which were photoed last time will be compared. If the Gifu castle is seen, I will think that it is poor and very sad. Himeji Castle is a world cultural heritage and is a national treasure. The Gifu castle of compare is pitiful. However, it will be a view that the Gifu castle is superior to Himeji Castle. I will reach it personally and will confirm it.
